Christmas 2011

We had a very wonderful Christmas this year! First off, of course, we had the most wonderful present of all - our little Simon. We also had Jake's parents and little brother Levi here to help out and help celebrate the holidays. It was absolutely wonderful to have them here. We enjoyed and appreciated their company so much! Then there was the Christmas party for my side of the family that we had at our house, which was so much fun and a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Jake's mom came a little early to make sure she was here for the birth. We met up with Jake's cousin Chris and his wife Robin and their little boy to see the lights at temple square.
 Christmas Party!
We started off our Christmas party by making gingerbread houses.

Kendal and Tina (a foreign exchange student from Germany living with my parents) are so good with Simon and love to hold him.
 The Christmas pageant!
This picture's a little fuzzy, but it's the only one I got showing Levi as the donkey. Emma was Mary.

Benson was Joseph (I love his little leather bag) and Karly was baby Jesus.
Bryce was the angel and Rachel and Matthew were the shepherds. This is them being afraid. Rachel was so excited for her role, she talked about it all day.

Isn't Brent's wise man costume awesome? We hurriedly removed Bryce's angel robes and sent him and Nathan into the mix so there would be 3 wise men.

 Christmas Day
This is the outfit that Jake's brother Daniel and his wife Annie sent as part of their Christmas present from Georgia. It was so cute on him!
The little moccasins say "baby's 1st Christmas" on the soles.

Thank you everyone who made this such a wonderful Christmas!
