Welcome Home Sister Carter!

I'm finally uploading these pictures of when Becky got home! She's been home for over a month now, so I'm a little behind. And what a month! She has a great job down in Zion's National Park, which just so happens to be the location where Drew, her fiance, works. I am so happy for them and excited to have Drew for my new brother!

After picking her up from the airport we met up with Kelly and Kyle at temple square. We had a classic Carter moment when the parents broke out the bread, peanut butter, jam, and butter knives on a bench by the visitors center. And then, of course, we weren't allowed to get near Benson until we washed our hands (he's allergic to peanuts). So Becky and I went inside to find a restroom and got sidetracked when she started talking to the sister missionaries. They were so much fun to talk to! I loved it. Then they asked for referrals so I gave them my friend's number, just for fun. He knows all about the church and says he's too busy, but I know that one of these days he'll figure out that he's missing out on the source for all true happiness!

Becky, of course, made a new best friend from Brazil while we were there!

When we got home Beck gave us a little culture with her stunning performance on the...Brazilian...stick...

It was pretty sweet! Welcome home Sister Carter!

So I met this boy...

So I met this boy. His name is Danny. He might best be described as really, really cool. We've been dating for about a month now, but we've been friends for over a year. We went and saw Kung Fu Panda tonight...for the second time...this week...it's a classic! Danny has a great sense of humor, but he saves all of his best jokes for me. He may or may not be embarrassed to tell them to anyone else. Well, it's late and I have to get some sleep. Hopefully next time I'll have some pictures of us to post!

Sleepover at Kelly's!

Cheryl and I had a great sleepover at Kelly's house last weekend! We watched movies, played games, and ate some delicious egg sandwiches.

Kelly sure had Brent confused when she told him his new baby brother is in her tummy! She put his head against her stomach, then arched her back to make it move suddenly and told him it was the baby kicking! It was so funny! The poor kid was completely bewildered.

I love spending time with my family!

The Big Fat Bunch Family Reunion

I love my gigantic family! We had a great time at the family reunion this year! With 26 people, 9 of them five and under, we were bound to. We did everything from rock climbing, to a video scavenger hunt, to eating a barbarian dinner, to a game of ultimate mafia in which we silently took each other out one by one. I died the first day. The only goal we didn't accomplish was to come up with a new name. Dad thinks "the big fat bunch" is too long, but I guess when a nick name like that sticks there's no getting rid of it! I could go on forever explaining all the fun stuff we did, but I think I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Funny Faces!

Cheryl's been having photo shoots with the children...

These are just some adorable babies...

Ok, now I'm just showing off, but that's my prerogative as an aunt!
