These are a little old, but I'm finally posting them. One week when Jake was doing an interview I used his ticket to bring Brent to his very first BYU football game. It was way fun. At first he was a little intimidated by all the people and the noise, but his mom gave him two dollars to buy a treat, so this was pretty much the best outing ever. He chose ice cream.
It looks like he's getting ready to fight here, but he is actually cheering. He came up with his own moves to go with the fight song.
Sometimes he was more interested in the ice cream than the actual game.
We could never get him to smile with his eyes open...
...with me at least.
By half time he was feeling ready to go.
Then Clarke caught this BYU basketball for him. He was literally jumped on from behind as someone tried to wrestle it from him, but he held on. Turned out it was someone he knew who hadn't recognized him. Awkward....
Clarke and Brent played with the basketball all the way back to the car.
