The Big Fat Bunch Family Reunion!

We had a great time in Moab with the fam! Here are some highlights!

It was a great reunion!

The Great Outdoors!

Here are some of our early summer adventures for 2013! 

Picnic in the backyard (we only had a backyard for about 2 months, but we loved it while we had it!)

 Simon discovered the hose and stealing my apple on the same day.

 First family walk with our double stroller (thanks Karen!)

 Jake took Simon on his first father-son campout with the ward! He set up the tent in the backyard the night before to see if it had all the pieces, which Simon loved.

 This is the boys coming home. Simon had a blast!

We took the boys to their first parade.

                                     

We went hiking to Multnomah Falls with some of Jake's siblings.

 We were ill prepared (it was a last minute thing) but Uncle Matt helped carry Joseph and push Simon in his little stroller.

 And last, but not least, Simon's starting to work on his football skills! Looks like we'll have another stormin' Mormon in this family!

Joseph's Baby Blessing

We had Joseph's baby blessing on March 31, Easter Sunday. We gave him the name Joseph Marquard Sypher. He is named after the prophet Joseph Smith and, of course, Heather's amazing dad, Marquard Dale Carter. We hope he'll look to their examples throughout his life. We were so glad Dad was able to be here for his namesake's blessing!

Jacob gave Joseph a beautiful blessing. I know that through him the Lord spoke to his sweet little spirit. We are so grateful to have the priesthood in our lives! And I'm so grateful to be married to a worthy priesthood holder who can give the Lord's blessing to our children!

Of course, part of that credit goes to this wonderful woman, who raised him...

Our boys sure are lucky in the grandparent department!

Not to mention aunts, uncles, and cousins...

Thank you for coming and being part of our little boy's special day!

Visit from Grandpa Pops and Grandma Goosey

This is long overdue, but here are some pictures of Dad and Mom's visit!

Simon had a blast playing with Grandpa.
